Cancellation Policy
Please contact Dr Flann as soon as possible if you need to cancel a scheduled consultation, so the appointment can be offered to another patient. If you cancel without giving at least 24 hours’ working notice, the following fees will apply:
- £120 if you do not attend a new patient consultation
- £90 if you do not attend a follow-up consultation
Failure to make payment within 28 days may result in referral to our debt collection agents, P&J CDS, whose charges will be added to the invoice debt.
Procedure Fees
If after the initial consultation a procedure is needed, this will carry an additional charge.

Curettage lesions (up to 8)

Intralesional steroid injections
Cryotherapy seborrhoeic keratoses (up to 8 lesions)

Hospital Fees
In addition there will be a hospital charge in order to cover the hospital’s treatment room fees and any hospital resources used, plus a histopathology fee for the specimen removed to be analysed. The hospital should be able to advise you what these two costs will be.
Insurance information
- If you have private health insurance (personal or provided by your employer), it usually covers both consultations and hospital expenses.
- Please notify your insurance company before any visit or procedure and obtain prior approval to avoid unexpected costs.
- Some policies will have an excess - please check the terms of your policy. Ultimately, the patient is responsible for paying any outstanding amounts not covered by their health insurance policy.
